For most weddings, I personally shoot around 60-90 minutes with the bride and her chosen posse, capturing details such as the dress, jewellery, flowers, as well as all the fun of getting ready and general merriment. Today is my five year anniversary as a wedding photographer and I'm looking through the engagement shoot images I took on Monday, at the very gorgeous West Wittering beach, with a couple whose wedding I'm shooting next year. If you'd told me five years ago that I'd be spending my Monday afternoon with my toes in soft sand, hanging out with two super cool people and their dog as my job? I wouldn't have believed you.

Pablo and Rose's wedding was my first of the season, and I was also recovering(!) from a month-long trip around the world and the associated jetlag, arriving home two days before. Obviously I made sure I got lots of rest and sleep before the wedding, but I still had those familiar butterflies which always seem to pop up after a few months' break. Pablo is also an incredible photographer and YouTuber so I knew everything needed to be perfect. But, I needn't have worried.
